Nathaniel is the recipient of the Washington Post Principal of the Year award and the Virginia Principal of the Year award. Under his leadership, his school was recognized as a 2019 Richard DuFour International PLC School Award winner, one of the highest honors for schools demonstrating a sustained commitment to Professional Learning Communities and improved student outcomes.

A nationally recognized TEDx speaker and author, Nathaniel focuses on strengthening family and community engagement while helping schools move from intention to impact. He partners with educators and leaders across the country, providing coaching and support in the development of effective Professional Learning Community structures, leadership practices, and systems that drive results.
